Moroccan Police Arrest 24-Year-Old in Major Credit Card Fraud Scheme

A 24-year-old man was arrested by the judicial police elements of Meknes for his alleged involvement in a case of fraud and credit card fraud.
It all started with several complaints received by the police reporting the exploitation of fraudulently obtained bank card data, used for various purchases. The judicial police of Meknes therefore opened an investigation that led to the identification and arrest of the young man involved in these criminal acts.
Aged 24, the searches of his home allowed the seizure of three payment terminals, an all-terrain vehicle and a sum of money estimated at 342,500 dirhams. This amount would come from this criminal activity, says a statement from the DGSN, which stresses that the suspect was placed in custody for the investigation opened to determine all the gray areas of this case.
