Chelsea’s Ziyech Sidelined for FA Cup Clash with Luton Town
Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech is out for Chelsea’s match against Luton Town in the 8th round of the FA Cup. The announcement was made by Thomas Tuchel on Tuesday.
Hakim Ziyech will have to wait again before returning to play with Chelsea. The injury for which he was substituted in the 60th minute on February 22 against Lille in the Champions League appears to be much more serious. As a result, he will not be present in the 8th round of the FA Cup against Luton Town.
Thomas Tuchel confirmed his unavailability on Tuesday, at the end of the traditional pre-match press conference. "He was not available for the final on Sunday and it’s the same situation for him before Luton. He still feels uncomfortable and was not in training today. So he is one of the players who will not be available tomorrow," he said.
