Chelsea’s Ziyech Praised for Resilience and Risk-Taking by Manager Tuchel

Thomas Tuchel recognizes and congratulates the mental strength that Hakim Ziyech has shown, going so far as to snatch the victory for Chelsea, despite the obstacles.
"Ziyech’s first goal in the 75th minute was unfortunately disallowed, but he continued to believe in it, he had a good game and continued to try to score by taking risks," the German manager said in a statement to BBC Match of the Day.
Taking risks is sometimes necessary to win, we cannot be content to "try to avoid making mistakes" and right now, Ziyech has found the right balance that allows him to dose his risk-taking, said the Chelsea coach. The Moroccan player seems to have turned his back on the troubled periods during which he had considered leaving the club.
In the Premier League, he has scored in the last three games. Designated man of the match again, he acknowledged that the game was difficult given that his team was unable to create many chances. "Of course we had the disallowed goal, but scoring in the last minute gives you the best possible feeling," said the 28-year-old winger. On the team’s chances in the championship, the Moroccan conceded that it was difficult. "But that’s why we play football, to win trophies. That’s what we’re trying to do. We’ve already won two this season and there are four left to win," he stressed.
