Juventus Eyes Chelsea’s Ziyech Amid Club’s Uncertain Future
At a time when economic sanctions are raining down on Russia and Russian oligarchs and Roman Abramovich, close to Russian President Vladimir Putin and owner of Chelsea, has announced the sale of the English club - a sale that is suspended - Juventus is expressing interest in Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech.
Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech is of interest to Juventus, reports the website TuttoJuve. The performances of the Blues’ attacking midfielder are seducing the Italian club. He has scored 7 goals and provided 4 assists in all competitions. His goal against Crystal Palace is also Chelsea’s best for the month of February, which earned the Moroccan international another distinction. The contract of the former Ajax star runs until 2025.
In addition to Hakim Ziyech, the Old Lady wishes to recruit another Blues star, Christian Pulisic, whose contract with Chelsea expires in 2024. He too has scored four goals this season.
