Chelsea’s Ziyech Shines in League Cup Semi-Final Win Over Tottenham

Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech contributed to his club, Chelsea, beating Tottenham (2-0) in the first leg of the League Cup semi-finals last Wednesday. Proving once again that he can establish himself with the Blues.
Technically, Hakim Ziyech shone with professionalism during the match between Chelsea and Tottenham. He was more than convincing in this first leg semi-final. According to the experts (boffins), he gave 30 passes in 56 ball touches, reports The Sun. These performances earned him the man of the match award.
Not called up by Vahid Halilhodzic, coach of the Atlas Lions, for the Africa Cup of Nations football (AFCON 2022) scheduled from January 9 to February 6, the Moroccan international has decided to focus on his career at Chelsea. His performances in the League Cup semi-final are a perfect illustration of this and augur a certain progress.
Considered one of the most creative forces in European football, the former Ajax Amsterdam star has what it takes to delight Chelsea fans in the weeks to come.
