Chelsea Proposes Ziyech-Kessié Swap Deal with Barcelona

Still in search of players to strengthen his team that is struggling to win titles, Chelsea wants to exchange its attacking midfielder, Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech for a player from FC Barcelona.
A few days before the end of the transfer window, Chelsea still wants to recruit players. And, its willingness to part with Hakim Ziyech, who nevertheless shone at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, is not wavering. The English club is now looking to exchange its attacking midfielder for Ivorian international Franck Kessié, who plays for Barça, according to the Spanish media Sport. But the Barcelona player would prefer to stay in the Ciudad Condal.
Last year, the Blaugrana leaders had tried to recruit Ziyech before giving up and preferring to acquire the services of Ferran Torres and Adama Traoré on loan. In recent days, they would rather be thinking of making an exchange between the Ivorian midfielder and Marcelo Brozovic. It remains to be seen whether the Spaniards would accept the Blues’ offer.
