Chelsea Targets Tottenham’s Bissouma, Offers Ziyech in Premier League Transfer Bid

After failing to sign Argentine international Enzo Fernandez, who shone at the 2022 Qatar World Cup with Argentina, crowned champions for the third time in its history, Chelsea wants to recruit Tottenham’s Malian international midfielder Yves Bissouma during this Premier League transfer window and intends to offer Hakim Ziyech to him. But Spurs are not ready to let their protégé go.
Chelsea is desperately trying to get rid of its attacking midfielder Hakim Ziyech. Despite the good performances of the Moroccan international during the World Cup in Qatar, the Moroccan international is still on the starting line. After offering him to Benfica to secure the services of Argentine international Enzo Fernandez (an offer that the Portuguese club declined), the English club’s leaders are proposing a deal to Tottenham involving Ziyech to sign their midfielder Yves Bissouma, reports The Telegraph. Blues coach Graham Potter is convinced that this potential recruitment will allow him to strengthen his team.
Chelsea could suffer another setback. Although Yves Bissouma, who joined Spurs in a £25 million deal, has failed to secure a starting spot in the team led by Antonio Conte, Tottenham has no intention of letting him go to Stamford Bridge in January. The Blues’ leaders thus want to discount Ziyech, whom they signed in the summer of 2020 in a £45 million deal. The Moroccan international could also find himself at Barça, as Xavi hinted this week.
