Chelsea’s Ziyech Reportedly Seeks Barcelona Move Amid Transfer Shake-up

Fearing to fall even lower in the hierarchy due to Chelsea’s busy transfer window this January, Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech is said to have offered himself to FC Barcelona, who have always had him in their sights.
Has Hakim Ziyech agreed to move to Camp Nou? Chelsea’s busy transfer window in January, during which the club signed six players, is pushing Hakim Ziyech to want to leave Stamford Bridge quickly. The Moroccan international fears falling even lower in the hierarchy and plans to join FC Barcelona to replace Memphis Depay, who made a £2.6 million transfer to Atletico Madrid, reports Sport. The Spaniards are themselves looking for a striker of his caliber. They had tried to recruit the 29-year-old player last year before giving up and preferring to acquire the services of Ferran Torres and Adama Traoré on loan.
Ziyech has offered his services to Xavi Hernandez, who hopes to lead Barcelona to the title. Currently, the club has three more points than Real Madrid. For its part, Chelsea is open to offers but is likely to demand a temporary loan departure.
