Chelsea Hesitant to Sell Ziyech to Rising Premier League Rival Newcastle

The Moroccan international attacking midfielder, Hakim Ziyech, should leave Chelsea by the end of the month. According to rumors, Newcastle United would be interested in the player to strengthen their chances in the Champions League.
However, Chelsea, who spend without counting since its acquisition by the Saudi Public Investment Fund, increasingly considers Newcastle as a rival. Chelsea co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali have friendly ties with members of Newcastle’s board of directors, and they have expressed their position on Ziyech.
It must be said that Ziyech had a very good season, especially during the World Cup in Qatar, where he was one of the leaders of the Moroccan team, allowing them to reach the semi-finals, a first for an African and Arab team.
Newcastle must act quickly, as it is not the only club interested in Hakim Ziyech, Roma and Everton would also be in the running. Chelsea therefore has to decide whether to keep him at the risk of selling him at a discount if the Moroccan player is kept on the bench.
