British tourist and his wife save a driver in extremis in Morocco
An act of courage helped avoid the worst on the roads of the province of Azilal. A British tourist and his wife intervened to rescue a motorist whose vehicle was threatening to fall into a ravine.
The British couple, who were passing by chance on this road, showed great responsiveness in the critical situation of the driver. Using his experience in this type of intervention, the tourist used ropes to secure the distressed vehicle to his own vehicle. This maneuver made it possible to stabilize the vehicle that was dangerously sliding and to extract the driver to safety.
The weather conditions had made this section particularly perilous. The rainfall had accentuated the slippery nature of the road, causing the loss of control and the drift of the light vehicle towards the edge of the precipice.
