Tragedy in Marrakech: a young couple and their unborn baby mowed down by a truck

The impact occurred at a roundabout known for its heavy traffic, particularly during morning rush hour. The motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident. His pregnant wife was rushed to the Mohammed VI University Hospital Center (CHU), where her death was pronounced shortly after her admission.

The police officers went to the scene to carry out the usual checks and regulate traffic. An investigation has been opened under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to determine the exact circumstances of the collision and to establish the responsibilities of the drivers involved.
