Barcelona Frontrunners to Sign Fiorentina’s Amrabat Next Summer

After his failed transfer to FC Barcelona, there is still hope that Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat will join the Catalan club’s squad next summer. His club, Fiorentina, and he now have an agreement to that effect.
June will be decisive for Sofyan Amrabat. Joe Barone, general manager of AFC Fiorentina and him, have reached an agreement for the Italian club to consider his transfer next summer, reports Calciomercato. This agreement will be a verbal agreement. This promise has convinced the Moroccan midfielder to stay until the end of the current season.
FC Barcelona and Liverpool are currently the favorites to sign the 26-year-old player. But the Catalan club could outpace the English club. Barça was about to recruit the Lion of the Atlas during the winter transfer window. The Blaugranes had offered the Italian club a paying loan of 3 million euros with a fixed purchase option of 37 million, in order to sign the Moroccan international (17 matches in Serie A) before the end of the winter transfer window, but it ran into the refusal of the Viola’s management.
