Fiorentina Blocks Amrabat’s Dream Move to Barcelona Despite Player’s Willingness to Forgo Salary

Sofyan Amrabat was willing to do anything to play for Barça. The Moroccan midfielder even agreed to offer his salary to Barça to Fiorentina for a loan until the end of the season. But the Italian club did not want to let him go.
Sofyan Amrabat saw his dream of playing for Barça shattered during the winter transfer window. His transfer to the Catalan club did not materialize, despite all his determination. The Moroccan international did not want to miss this great opportunity, but his club, Fiorentina, was not willing to let him go to Barça, recalls Sport.es.
In addition to Barça, Chelsea and Manchester United were also interested in the Moroccan midfielder during this transfer window. But Amrabat’s heart only beat for Barça. We can only hope that the Moroccan player will have more luck in the next summer transfer window, and that the club will still have the financial leeway to pay for his transfer.
