Moroccan Star Amrabat Set for Summer Exit from Fiorentina Amid European Interest
After the failed transfer to Barça during the January transfer window, Sofyan Amrabat could leave Fiorentina in the next summer transfer window. The Italian club would be ready to consider offers to let the Moroccan midfielder go.
Sofyan Amrabat was highly anticipated at Barça during the winter transfer window, but his transfer failed because Fiorentina did not want to let him go. A decision by the Italian club that "devastated" the Moroccan international, one of the revelations at the World Cup in Qatar. Amrabat, who dreamed of joining the Blaugrana in January, remains in Italy until the end of the season, recalls Mundo Deportivo.
But the Moroccan midfielder continues to attract the interest of several European clubs and Fiorentina should receive new offers regarding Amrabat. "For now, we have no offer for the summer, but now at least, Fiorentina is ready to listen. That’s a promise they made after the president rejected all the offers in the winter," said Mohamed Sinouh, the player’s agent.
