TI Automotive Invests €16 Million in New Tangier Factory for Fuel System Production

The American company TI Automotive has just announced an investment of 16 million euros in a new factory located in Tangier.
The specialist in engine fuel systems and fluid transport will thus build a new factory which, ultimately, should produce 4.5 million meters of tubes per year, reports the newspaper Le Matin.
The production of this new unit located in Tanger Med will be exported to Europe, particularly to Germany, the same source said.
In January 2017, TI Automotive had announced the installation of a first 1,500 m2 factory in Tanger Free Zone, the objective of which is to supply the Renault-Nissan group and support the commissioning of the PSA plant in Kenitra. This factory was eventually to employ about a hundred people.
