Angers SCO Star Sofiane Boufal Undergoes Surgery, Out for Season After PSG Match Injury

Substituted due to injury during the match that opposed Angers SCO to Paris Saint-Germain, Sofiane Boufal was operated on Wednesday morning.
Last week was one of bad news for Angers SCO. Not only did the club lose (0-3) against PSG, but the season is over for Sofiane Boufal, injured in the hamstrings. In a statement, the club announced the unavailability of the player without specifying the duration of this absence.
A blow for Angers, who thus lose the Moroccan player for the rest of the season. "I will unfortunately be absent for a little while, but I will come back stronger, as I have always done," the player assured on social media. This season, Sofiane Boufal has scored 8 goals and provided 5 assists in Ligue 1.
