Morocco’s Soufiane Boufal Returns to Training After Injury Layoff

The latest news about the physical condition of the Moroccan international Soufiane Boufal, injured last April, is reassuring. The player has gradually resumed training in order to be available at the start of the season.
The attacking midfielder was substituted due to injury during a Ligue 1 match between his club, SCO Angers, and Paris Saint-Germain. A blow for the player, as he had missed the last matches of the national team in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers and his club in the championship.
According to his agent, the Frenchman Julien, Boufal had received the green light from the medical staff of the Angers club to attend his training sessions with the ball and gradually move up a gear before joining the collective training.
"Sofiane has a great desire to return to the stadiums and he wants to play in the French championship next season as soon as possible while ensuring participation with the Atlas Lions in the next edition of the World Cup," he said.
