60-Year-Old Man Arrested in Morocco for Trafficking Over 1 Ton of Cannabis

A 60-year-old man was arrested on Thursday in Larache for his alleged links with a criminal network active in international drug trafficking.
Elements of the prefectural judicial police service of Larache and the services of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST) carried out the operation in collaboration with the judicial police brigade of the Larache port police station, indicates the DGSN.
It allowed the arrest of the suspect in flagrante delicto of trafficking in chira (1 ton and 49 kg) packaged in 30 large packages in a refrigerated truck.
For the needs of the investigation, the accused was taken into custody in order to identify all the accomplices and individuals involved in this case and to elucidate any possible links with international drug and psychotropic trafficking networks, specifies the same source.
