Moroccan Police Seize 738 kg of Cannabis, Arrest Suspected International Drug Trafficker

A 26-year-old individual was arrested on Monday for his alleged links to a criminal network active in the international trafficking of drugs and psychotropic substances. The judicial police of the city of Errachidia were able to carry out this operation thanks to information provided by the services of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST).
It was at a road checkpoint in the city of Errachidia that the suspect was arrested, in flagrante delicto of "possession and transport of 28 packages of Chira (cannabis resin) with a total weight of 738 kilograms," according to a press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
He was placed in custody for the investigation opened to elucidate all the gray areas in this case, determine its possible ramifications and links with international drug trafficking networks.
