Repeat Drug Offender Arrested at Tangier Bus Station with Nearly 3,000 Illicit Pills

The prefectural judicial police service of Tangier arrested, based on information provided by the services of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), a repeat offender who would be involved in a case of possession and trafficking of drugs and psychotropics.
He was apprehended within the Tangier bus station as he was about to leave the city, indicates the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) in a press release. It was by searching the effects that the police managed to seize 2,887 tablets including 1,920 of the "Rivotril" type and 967 of Ecstasy.
The suspect was placed in custody, pending the investigation that will determine the circumstances of this case and arrest any potential accomplices involved in these criminal acts.
This security operation is part of the efforts deployed by the services of the DGSN and the DGST in the fight against drug and psychotropic trafficking, it is noted with satisfaction.
