The Errachidia police arrested two individuals on Tuesday, transporting 1.482 tons of hashish on board a truck. This operation was made possible thanks to the precise information provided by the services of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST).
The two suspects, aged 50 and 54, were arrested on board a truck registered in Morocco, in the rural commune of "Msissi", near Tinghir, according to the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
In addition to the 1,482 kilos, the police also seized significant sums of national currency, which would come from drug and psychotropic trafficking.
This operation is part of the relentless fight led by the DGST and the DGSN against international drug and psychotropic trafficking. The investigations continue in order to identify any ramifications of this case.
