Detroit Police Arrest Suspected Drug Trafficker Wanted in Multiple Cities

Elements of the Prefectural Judicial Police Service of Detroit proceeded to the arrest of an individual who would be involved in a case of drug and psychotropic trafficking.
According to a press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), this operation was made possible thanks to precise information provided by the services of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST).
The suspect, aged 39, was arrested in a seaside resort in Tangier in the company of his son-in-law. Eight arrest warrants, issued by the security services of Tangier, Tetouan and Kenitra, had been issued against him nationwide for drug and psychotropic trafficking.
After his arrest, the searches made it possible to seize 200 grams of cocaine, 1 tear gas bottle, 170,000 dirhams, other foreign currencies, as well as 2 cars including a 4X4.
The two men were taken into custody, pending the conclusions of the investigation initiated to determine the ins and outs of this case.
