Cocaine Bust in Fez: 520 Grams Seized, Suspect Arrested at Train Station

An individual with a criminal record was arrested on Friday, November 22 in Fez for his involvement in a case of possession and trafficking of cocaine.
It was with the collaboration of the National Security elements of the Fez Police Prefecture that the suspect was apprehended at the train station as he was about to go to Rabat, said a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
The same source specifies that the search and security pat-down operations allowed the seizure of 520 grams of cocaine hidden under the suspect’s clothes.
Regarding the suspect, he was placed in custody at the disposal of the investigation in order to elucidate the ins and outs of this case and determine the origin and destination of the seized drugs.
