The Moroccans’ dominance was felt from the first minutes of the match, then materialized in the 20th minute with a goal by Walid El Karti, who repeated his feat 10 minutes later in the 30th.
The Wydad players continued to impose their pace and found the net again at the 34th minute through Abdellatif Noussair, then thanks to Mohamed Nahiri at the 59th minute of the match.
A few minutes before the end of the match, at the 85th minute exactly, Zouhir El Moutaraji knocked out the Guineans with the fifth and final goal of the match which took place, let’s remember, at the Moulay Abdellah sports complex in Rabat, the Mohammed V stadium being under construction again.
