Wydad Casablanca Fans Demand Stadium Reopening for Champions League Match

The "Winners" have expressed, on social networks, their refusal to close the Mohammed V Complex in Casablanca, and threatened, this time to show their anger in the street, if the stadium is not opened to host the matches of Wydad de Casablanca during the African Champions League, in its 2019 edition.
"Open the stadium, or the supporters will revolt," we read in the post, which is accompanied by videos of Wydadi supporters threatening to take to the streets, after the Wydad and Horoya de Conakry match, which will take place tomorrow, Saturday, April 13, at the Moulay Abdellah sports complex in Rabat.
An emergency meeting was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of the Interior last Wednesday to study and find a solution and above all to avoid any public excesses during the return match.
To try to calm the anger of the supporters, the officials decided to consider the possibility of opening the stadium on a provisional basis, in consultation with the local authorities and the Casa-Aménagement company, in order to allow Wac de Casablanca to host the teams there, during the remaining matches of the African Champions League.
