Wydad Casablanca to Host African Champions League Final at Mohammed V Complex

Wydad of Casablanca will play the final of the African Champions League at the Mohammed V complex in Casablanca. The threats from the supporters seem to have paid off.
The leaders of Wydad and Raja, as well as representatives of the City Council and Casa-Amenagement, have agreed to reopen the Mohammed V complex in Casablanca for the final of the African Champions League.
Fawzi El Benzarti’s players will therefore have to defeat the South Africans of Mamelodi Sundowns, whom they are facing for the third time, in the semi-finals. The first leg is scheduled for April 27 at the Moulay Abdellah sports complex in Rabat, while the return leg is to be played on May 4 in Pretoria.
The wish of the Wydad ultras will therefore be granted, it seems, especially after the threat to express their anger in the street if the complex is not opened for the remaining matches of the African competition.
