Wydad Casablanca Holds Firm in Goalless Draw Against Horoya in Champions League Quarter-Final

Wydad Casablanca went in search of a valuable draw (0-0) on Saturday on the field of Horoya of Conakry, during the first leg of the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.
Having gained great experience in the African competition, the protégés of Faouzi Benzarti managed to defy the unstoppable Guineans, who had several opportunities to open the scoring on their pitch.
Despite the strong pressure from the public and the Matam players, the Wydad players showed great resistance, thwarting many attacks and even offering several goal-scoring opportunities.
In front of one of the most popular audiences in the world, the Wac of Casablanca will have a good chance of turning the situation in its favor and securing its ticket for the semi-finals.
The other matches of the competition were marked by the severe correction of Al Ahly by the Sundowns team on a score of 5-0, the dominance of the Tunisians of Esperance on the pitch of Constantine 2-3, and a draw between TP Mazembe and Simba.
