Moroccan Club Renaissance Berkane Advances to African Confederation Cup Semifinals with 5-1 Victory

The Renaissance of Berkane qualified yesterday for the semi-finals of the African Confederation Cup by crushing the Gor Mahia team of Kenya 5-1.
The Moroccan players quickly imposed their game and this was reflected in a first goal in the 20th minute of the match by Kodjo Laba, followed 12 minutes later by Mohamed Aziz.
The goal festival continued with Bakre El Hilali finding the net in the 37th minute, followed in the 58th minute by Issoufou Dayo before Youssef Es-Saiydi scored the 5th goal a few minutes before the end of the match.
On the Kenyan side, the only goal of the match was scored by Lawrennce Juma in the 25th minute of this quarter-final.
In the first leg, the Moroccans had dominated their opponents by winning 2-0 at the Moi International Sports Center stadium in Nairobi.
