Moroccan Club Raja Casablanca Clinches CAF Super Cup with 2-1 Victory

A new African title for the Moroccan club Raja of Casablanca, which today won the CAF Super Cup football by beating the Esperance de Tunis team 2-1.
The Raja goals were scored by Abellilah Hafidi in the 22nd minute in the top corner after, it must be recognized, a collective action. The second conversion was the work of Badr Banoun after a very nice heel kick in the 65th minute of the match.
It is worth noting the very good goal opportunity of Youssef Blaili in the 58th minute exactly who narrowly missed the opposing goal by aiming, like his teammate, at the top corner.
The Moroccan victory comes after last year’s victory of eternal rival Wydad of Casablanca, who had won the title against the very difficult Congolese of TP Mazembe.
For the record, Raja had already won the title 19 years ago.
