Wydad Casablanca Clinches 20th Moroccan Soccer Championship with Decisive Win

Wydad Casablanca has just been crowned champion of Morocco for the twentieth time in its history. WAC has a 6-point lead over Raja, its eternal rival.
It is after beating OCK with a resounding score of 4 to 1 in a match counting for the 28th day of the Botola that WAC ensures its title of Moroccan champion. The club now has 58 points, while the one chasing it, Raja, has 52.
In this match, the goals were scored by Zouheir Moutaraji, a double scorer, in the 16th and 30th minutes, by Mohamed Nahiri (42nd) and by Badii Aouk in the 30th minute. The goal for OCK was scored by Reda El Hajhouj (a former WAC player) in the 78th minute. This match was played at the Mohammed V Complex in Casablanca, functional again after several months of renovations... and especially many complaints...
It should be noted that RCA is guaranteed to finish second in the championship, with its 52 points, far ahead of the clubs that follow it, Hassania d’Agadir and OCS. There is still one match to play for several teams, but the top two are already known.
It should also be noted that WAC was Moroccan champion five times before the founding of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, from 1948 to 1951 consecutively and then in 1955. And the 15 other titles were won after (1957-1966-1969-1976-1977-1978-1986-1990-1991-1993-2006-2010-2015-2017-2019).
