CAF Suspends Referee for 6 Months After Controversial Champions League Final

While complaints about refereeing errors were beginning to be filed against the referee of the Wydad-Espérance match, the latter has just been suspended for 6 months. There were indeed errors... And the WAC was wronged!
During the first leg of the CAF Champions League final, a match that ended 1-1, the referee of the match, Gehad Grisha, caused a lot of discontent. An entire country, and many bodies... He has just been suspended for six months by CAF.
CAF, which thus agrees with the grievances of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and the WAC of Casablanca, would have explained its decision on its website with these words: "Poor performance".
This referee, originally from Egypt, was very controversial during and after this very important match that took place in Morocco. The FRMF and the WAC condemned, among other things, the cancellation of a valid WAC goal in the 46th minute and a penalty not awarded in the 56th minute.
It should be noted that these 6 months of being sidelined from the pitches will put him "out of play" for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2019) which will take place in his country, Egypt, from June 21 to July 19.
However, will this change anything to the results of the match?
