After the departure of Faouzi Benzarti, the "Wydad" of Casablanca has just announced the arrival of its new sports coach. Serb Zoran Manojlovic will be presented to the media this Wednesday, July 17.
During a radio program, the President of the "Wydad", Saïd Naciri, announced on Monday, July 15, the name of the new coach of the football team. Zoran Manojlovic will take up his duties starting Wednesday, July 17.
After a stint in Portugal, the Serb joined Angola where he coached several local championship teams, including "Sagrada", "Kabuscorp SC", "Premiero" de Agosto. In 2019, he won the championship title with the third.
Let us recall that Faouzi Benzarti left the "Wydad" of Casablanca to join the "Étoile du Sahel", in Tunisia, following a financial disagreement with the President of the Reds. Indeed, the Tunisian coach would have requested a salary adjustment that exceeds the club’s budget.
