Woman Murdered Near Lyon; Ex-Husband Arrested for Domestic Violence

The lifeless body of Hanane, a 37-year-old woman, was found on Tuesday in La Mulatière, near Lyon. Already accused of violence against the victim, her ex-partner was arrested on Wednesday.
Hanane’s ex-partner, with whom she had recently broken up, is the alleged perpetrator of the facts. Arrested by the Operational Support Group (GAO) and the criminal brigade of the Security, in the east of Lyon, on board his vehicle, he was placed in police custody at the Security premises.
Referred on June 25 to the Lyon public prosecutor’s office, the suspect was accused of violence against his wife. His trial was scheduled for October 26. Before that date, he had been placed under judicial supervision with a ban on approaching the victim, the Lyon public prosecutor’s office specifies that "no incident or breach of the judicial supervision obligations" had been reported since that date.
