Winter Storm Brings Heavy Rain and Snow to Multiple Regions in Morocco

Locally heavy rains, sometimes thunderstorms, and snowfall are expected from this Monday until Wednesday at 3am (December 2-4) in several regions and provinces of the Kingdom, according to a weather alert from the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN).
These orange-level showers are expected on Monday from 11am to 4pm and from Tuesday at 9am to Wednesday at 3am in Kénitra, Salé, Rabat, Skhirat-Témara, Benslimane and Mohammedia. In Fahs-Anjra, M’diq-Fnideq and Tétouan. These showers will also be recorded from Monday at 12pm to Tuesday at 3am and from Tuesday, December 3 at 9am to Wednesday at 3am.
Chefchaouen, Al Hoceima, Driouch, Nador, Berkane, Guercif, Taourirt, Oujda-Angad, Jerada, Sefrou and Larache will be affected by these storms from Tuesday at 9am to Wednesday at 3am. These bad weather conditions are also announced in the cities of Errachidia and Tinghir from Monday at 8pm to Tuesday at 9am.
Moreover, at altitudes of more than 1,500 meters, snowfall is expected on Monday and Tuesday in Al Haouz, Azilal, Béni Mellal, Errachidia, Midelt, Boulemane and Tinghir. It is also expected in Sefrou, Ifrane and Khénifra during the day on Tuesday.
