Winter Storm Blankets Ifrane in Snow, Temperatures Near Freezing

The city of Ifrane has been under snow since the early hours of this Saturday. The first snowflakes fell abundantly with temperatures flirting with 0 degrees.

According to the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN), cold weather is expected on the reliefs, the Oriental, the Southeast, the High Plateaus and the interior of the country at the end of the weekend.

Snow showers are also announced up to 13 cm in height, on the reliefs of the Atlas and the eastern High Plateaus.

Road users must be vigilant not to suffer any inconvenience.
