Winter Storm Brings Snow, Rain, and Cold Temperatures to Morocco

Bad weather will affect a large part of Morocco on this Monday, December 2. The National Meteorology Directorate (DMN) forecasts rain or showers accompanied by thunderstorms, quite cold weather with moderate wind as well as snowfall.
The rain or showers accompanied by thunderstorms should affect the north, center, Atlas, Rif, Oriental, the Mediterranean coast and the southeastern slopes.
The coasts north of Tarfaya will experience a partially cloudy sky with rain and showers.
At altitudes above 1,700 meters, snowfall is expected on the High and Middle Atlas.
On the other hand, the sky will be slightly cloudy with quite cold weather on the reliefs and the eastern High Plateaus.
A moderate, sometimes rather strong north wind will also be recorded on the southern coasts and weak to moderate, east on the Mediterranean, north on the Oriental and south to variable elsewhere.
In addition, the sea will be calm to slightly agitated on the Mediterranean. It will be slightly agitated to agitated on the Strait and to the South and agitated to strong between Tangier and Tan-Tan.
