First Snowfall of Season Hits Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains

Winter is already peeking its head. This Wednesday, November 4 will see the first snowfall in Morocco.
According to the forecasts of the General Directorate of Meteorology, snow is expected on the High Atlas reliefs from 2,000 m, especially during the night.
In terms of temperatures, it will be 04 to 10°C this morning on the reliefs and eastern high plateaus, 10 to 16°C on the Saiss, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the Southeast and the Mediterranean coast, 14 to 19°C on the northern and central plains, the Souss, the north of the southern provinces and near the Atlantic and 19 to 24°C on the far south.
In the afternoon, we expect 11 to 17°C on the reliefs, 19 to 24°C on the North, the Center, the Southeast, the Oriental and the northwest of the southern provinces, and 25 to 35°C on the far south.
