West Ham Nears £15 Million Deal for Moroccan Defender Nayef Aguerd

Moroccan international Nayef Aguerd could soon land at West Ham, 7th in the last Premier League standings. Nothing official yet but the rumor talks about an imminent transfer for several million pounds.
15 million pounds! This is the amount that West Ham could spend to acquire Nayef Aguerd, the Moroccan defender from Stade Rennais, according to the Daily Mail. The Moroccan player is said to have even traveled to London this week to finalize his transfer and take the traditional photos with the club’s jersey, before joining the gathering of the Atlas Lions, at the Mohammed VI football complex.
The central defender has been on the English club’s radar for more than a year. West Ham currently has four central defenders: Kurt Zouma, Craig Dawson, Issa Diop and Angelo Ogbonna. If the transfer is effective, Nayef Aguerd will join them to further strengthen the team.
