The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) announced that these disturbances will affect the country from Tuesday at 06:00 until Wednesday at 23:00. This cooling concerns mainly the high-altitude areas located above 1,400 meters.

The provinces of Azilal, Béni Mellal, Ifrane and Boulemane will be the most affected with expected snow depths between 20 and 40 cm, the DGM reports.

Other provinces will also experience significant, although less dense, snowfall, with forecasts ranging between 10 and 20 cm. The territories of Al Haouz, Taza, Chefchaouen, Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Figuig, Khénifra, Sefrou, Al Hoceima and Guercif are concerned.
