Morocco: New weather alert
The DGM announces significant thunderstorms, between 30 and 60 mm, accompanied by the risk of hail for this Wednesday. These precipitations mainly concern the provinces of Safi, Sidi Bennour and El Jadida between 11:30 and 23:00.
Other regions, including Tangier, Tetouan, Larache and Chefchaouen, will experience thunderstorms up to 30 mm. The vigilance bulletin also extends to the south and east of the country, notably affecting Essaouira, Oujda, Taza and Berkane during the same period.

The reliefs are particularly exposed with snowfall expected above 1,400 meters of altitude. The provinces of Azilal, Tinghir, Ouarzazate and Al Haouz could record up to 40 centimeters of powder snow by Thursday noon according to the General Directorate of Meteorology.

Finally, strong gusts of wind reaching 85 km/h are expected from Wednesday evening in the mountainous areas of Tinghir and Ouarzazate. This unstable weather should persist until mid-day Thursday, leading to a drop in temperatures across all the affected massifs.
