18 wanted notices: the Moroccan police apprehend an elusive fugitive

The operation mobilized significant resources to put an end to the activities of this suspect. On the instructions of the public prosecutor’s office and in coordination with the Royal Gendarmerie, the law enforcement forces surrounded an agricultural area. This is where the man had been hiding for a long time, thinking he could escape justice by taking advantage of the density of the vegetation and the isolation of the farms.

Surprised by the security system, the suspect tried everything to escape by attempting to flee on a motorcycle through rugged trails. His attempt failed due to the reactivity of the police who intercepted him while he was in an abnormal state. The motorcycle and various objects related to his criminal activity were seized on the spot, marking the end of impunity for this repeat offender.

The intervention also led to the arrest of a woman present at the scene, suspected of having links with the trafficker for acts of prostitution. Both were taken into custody for the needs of the investigation, which now aims to identify the suppliers and dismantle the entire drug trafficking network operating in the region.
