Walid Regragui speaks out on the Ziyech and Brahim Diaz duo

Moroccan coach Walid Regragui brushed aside rumors of discord between Hakim Ziyech and Brahim Diaz, saying the two players form a united duo.
"These reports are unfounded," Regragui said at the press conference held yesterday in Agadir, on the eve of the friendly match against Mauritania. "You know the Ziyech who doesn’t smile much in photos, but he plays a big role in the team. He is the captain and he always has at heart to welcome the new players and integrate them into the group. He took care of Diaz and they understand each other very well."
For the national coach, talented players like to play together. "Great players don’t feel threatened by others. They understand each other and share the ambition to achieve great results and leave a positive mark on the team," he said.
Morocco will face Mauritania in a friendly match this Tuesday, March 26 at the Adrar stadium in Agadir. Last Friday, the Atlas Lions had won 1-0 against Angola.
