Is there a rift between Hakim Ziyech and Brahim Diaz?

Morad Moutaouakkil, spokesperson for the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), denies rumors of a rift between the star of the Turkish club Galatasaray Hakim Ziyech and the Spanish-Moroccan attacking midfielder of Real Madrid Brahim Diaz during, before and after the friendly match between Morocco and Angola at the Grand Stadium of Agadir, which ended in a narrow victory for the Atlas Lions over the Black Antelopes (1-0).
"There was no problem between the players, everything went well," said FRMF spokesman Morad Moutaouakkil, thus trying to put an end to rumors of a rift between Hakim Ziyech and Brahim Diaz during, before and after the friendly match between Morocco and Angola. These rumors would be based on the strategy of executing set pieces for the Moroccan team, where three players, namely Brahim Diaz, Achraf Hakimi and Hakim Ziyech, gather in front of the ball to take the kick.
In a statement to the press, Brahim Diaz said he was very happy to have made his debut with the Moroccan national team. He also said he had a special day, as he received a lot of love. He also said he was proud to be Moroccan. The 24-year-old player contributed to the victory of the Atlas Lions over the Black Antelopes of Angola (1-0) with his good performance.
By joining the den of the Atlas Lions instead of the Roja, Brahim Diaz gives himself the opportunity to participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the next Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) to be held in Morocco in 2025. He will also have the chance to participate in the 2026 World Cup and the 2030 World Cup that Morocco will co-host with Spain and Portugal.
