Violent Robbery Suspect Arrested in Tangier After Casablanca Knife Attack

The second suspect involved in the attempted armed robbery in Casablanca with a violent knife attack, causing the victim serious facial injuries, was arrested by elements of the Judicial Police Brigade of the Moulay Rachid district in Casablanca.
This arrest was made possible thanks to the collaboration of their counterparts in Tangier, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
A repeat offender, the suspect was apprehended in the city of Tangier, his place of refuge after the crime, reports the MAP, following the victim’s complaint about the knife attack. The investigations carried out on this subject led to the arrest of a first suspect on Tuesday, September 3, in Casablanca.
The same source reports that the two suspects were taken into custody for the investigation in order to elucidate the ins and outs of this case and to determine all the criminal acts they have committed.
