Suspect Arrested in Brutal Casablanca Murder Case: Woman’s Body Found Mutilated and Burned

The Judicial Police of the city of Casablanca arrested, last week, a 47-year-old individual for his alleged involvement in a voluntary homicide crime with mutilation of the victim’s body, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
The people of Casablanca woke up on September 2nd with several unanswered questions. The motive for this savage crime discovered by the National Security services of the Mers Sultan El Fida district in Casablanca remains to be elucidated.
Indeed, they came across a particular case revealing the mutilated and incinerated body of a woman. The investigations and technical and biological research carried out at the crime scene led to the identification and arrest of the accused.
The defendant, a repeat offender, a specialist in theft and violence against ascendants, was placed in custody at the disposal of the investigation conducted in order to determine the ins and outs of this case. Furthermore, the investigations and genetic analyzes are continuing to identify the victim whose body was found in a state of decomposition.
