Violent Robbery Attempt in Casablanca: Suspect Arrested After Knife Attack

A 21-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday, September 3, in Casablanca. He would be involved in an attempted robbery, accompanied by serious knife wounds.
According to the MAP, citing the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the incident was recorded in a video circulated on social networks. The reaction of the National Security services was quick. The main aggressor was apprehended and his accomplice identified.
Placed in custody, the young man was made available to the investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office, the DGSN said. The search continues to apprehend the second suspect, whose identity is already known.
