Elderly Man Murdered in Kasbah Tadla: Suspect Arrested in Robbery-Turned-Homicide

The body of a 73-year-old man was discovered on Wednesday, October 2nd, in the administrative district of Kasbla Tadla, lying in a pool of blood. His death occurred following several blows inflicted on him with a knife to the neck.
The alleged murderer of the man was arrested at the home of his family in Kasbah Tadla, said the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
From the results of the investigation, it appears that the victim, after getting to know his killer, was taken to Béni Mellal to an isolated place before being killed with a knife to be robbed.
The accused, aged 38, was immediately taken into custody and is being prosecuted for the charge of theft with knife wounds.
