Violent Offender Arrested After Stabbing Police Officer in Morocco

In a statement, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) indicates that the suspect, who was in a state of strong impulsivity, damaged two vehicles belonging to the public forces and violently resisted the police elements using a bladed weapon, inflicting serious abdominal injuries on a police officer. The police officers managed to subdue him and arrest him, as well as seize the bladed weapon used in this assault and a blunt iron object.

The injured police officer was transferred to the local hospital in Sidi Kacem to receive the necessary care, while the suspect was placed in custody at the disposal of the investigation conducted by the local brigade of the judicial police of Jorf El Melha, which must determine the circumstances of this case and the reasons why the arrested man was in such a state as to injure a police officer with a bladed weapon.
