Three Arrested in Salé Café Knife Attack and Robbery

Three individuals, including two brothers, were arrested on Saturday by the urban brigade of the judicial police under the Bettana security district. They are allegedly involved in a case of knife attack in a café, associated with theft and violence.
The national security services went to a café located in the Hay Salam neighborhood in Salé following complaints of a knife attack in a café. The suspects, aged between 29 and 33 years old with criminal records, assaulted the customers and stole the mobile phone of one of them, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
The scene was filmed and shared on social media, allowing the national security services to conduct intense research and investigations to identify the three defendants. They were arrested during a security operation carried out on Saturday afternoon in the "Ameur" area near Salé.
They were placed in custody at the disposal of the investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office in order to determine all the circumstances surrounding the commission of these criminal acts, the DGSN concluded.
