Four Arrested in Tetouan for Murder of Currency Exchanger, Police Say

The elements of the judicial police of Tetouan arrested four individuals aged between 28 and 49 years old. They would be involved in a case of voluntary homicide with theft and concealment of crime traces.
It all started with a missing person report received by the judicial police services in Tetouan. The main suspect claimed that his 62-year-old father, who worked in currency exchange in the same city, disappeared under mysterious circumstances, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security.
Intensive investigations carried out by the judicial police services revealed that the main suspect and his accomplices, all security guards in a residence in Martil, attacked and murdered the victim with a bladed weapon, before burying him in the garden of a villa. After the crime, they stole a large sum of money in local currency and foreign currency.
The four suspects were taken into custody and made available to the investigation led by the competent prosecutor’s office, in order to determine the exact circumstances of this case and identify other accomplices.
